Intro

It’s hard to talk about oneself without eventually slipping into pomposity or self-adulation.
All I can say is that, after all, in my life I’ve managed to do the things I’ve always wanted to do. Sure, I’ve had highs and lows, but I’ve always been happy with and proud of what I am: a musician first, and then a drummer... although the two things live together in perfect harmony.
This is what I mean by the music “trade”. More than a “trade”, music to me is the representation of joy, feelings and the excitement that you experience in being part of such a vast, infinite dimension.
My sources of inspiration are easily revealed.
In 1969 my father, a theatre actor, worked in a musical comedy with Johnny Dorelli called “Promesse Promesse”. That was the first time I listened to Burt Bacharach’s music and completely fell under its spell to the point that his music is still my major source of inspiration today…(I’m also one of the keenest collectors of his LPs and CDs).
Since then all that relates to orchestra and orchestral music (including musicals) has become an integral part of my life as a musician. Although over the years I’ve explored different music genres (some more agreeable than others), I still believe that Bacharach’s compositions and arrangements are the zenith of musical expression.
This website is to me a little showcase of my personal and musical life, it’s up to you to discover the rest. Welcome!
